48. It’s called Directed energy Deposition and it’s a cladding technology. Powder is either being transported coaxial (this case here) into the melting zone or in/ against the direction of movement.

    This tech is complicated in prep and needs a lot of work for the right parameters.

    I worked for by bachelors in mechanical engineering with that topic for about 9 months. Looks easy but is not easy
